We, the human race I mean, have been through a lot this year. We had some good things, like Parasite winning best movie at the Oscars, or the discovery of potential signs of life on Venus; as well as terrible and tragic events, like the pandemic we are still facing, or the Beirut explosion. So I think it is only fair to be thankful that we, now I mean HelloGuru, are still standing. Not only that, but we have had the incredible fortune to have grown and stepped up from where we were last year. It means the world to us, and we want to share a little of what has happened over the last 365-ish days.
So, what was happening with HelloGuru a year ago?
Well, we were full of ideas and energy, as we still are, but things have changed A LOT. By December 2019, HelloGuru was composed of just two people, a landing page, a waiting list and, of course, a blog (wink!). We were still trying to find the best fit for us in terms of how we wanted to teach No-Code tools, how we wanted to communicate with our audience and how to charge for what we were bringing to the table.
By February we were clearer on our path and started working on our first course: the Bubble Certificate (which, if you haven't done it, now is the time! save 50% with the code hohoguru). We also began to spend more time on communication, and opened some social media accounts. Today, more than 4000 students have enrolled to our course available in English and Spanish, and our social media thrives on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Today, we are glad to say that we have expanded our team greatly in order to fulfill the needs of our users, students and clients. And that now HelloGuru not only teaches No-Code, but also handles your software needs if you, by any chance, don't have the time or resources to make it by yourself (Contact us for a free project quote!). Just ask the guys of Healroom, FoxDen or Smartrader about their experience with us… or simply check out their websites!
We can't wait to show you what's coming next. But we also want to avoid giving SPOILERS. The only thing we can say for sure is that, if we did what we did in the year of our lord 2020, just imagine what we'll do for a hopefully better 2021!
See you next year!
